As a commercial photographer, Alan has been responsible for developing the visual images for numerous local and national clients. Recent projects include the re-branding efforts of UPS, the development of an image library for Home Depot’s quarterly magazine, Toolkit, and the documentation of the High Museum’s historic expansion as well as updating their curator portraits.
Alan is a nationally recognized photojournalist whose work has been featured in Time, People, Sports Illustrated, and Newsweek among others. In addition, his photos have appeared on the front pages of almost every daily newspaper in the country including USA Today, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Alan has been assigned to cover three U.S. Presidents, as well as a host of other leaders, corporate CEO’s, and icons from the Dalai Lama to Michael Jordan.
As an artist, Alan is represented in galleries from New York, to California and his work can be found in both public and private collections. His most recent series of work, “Day’s Past”, which focused on the idealized memories of childhood, has been selected to be a part of more than a dozen national exhibitions.
